About this Course

In this course, it is aimed to make the participants of Innovative SMEs aware and knowledgeable about key success factors being data sharing in this digital age with a special focus on circular economy and related domains, including the various Data Strategy initiatives by the European Commission, including related challenges and opportunities, and intellectual (property) rights and the Freedom to Operate.

Beside the component knowledge, this course will also contribute to the skills set and other capabilities of Innovative SMEs regarding these two essential success factors, in order to help facilitate the windows of opportunities for the Innovative SMEs from strategic, economic and legal sustainable impact perspective.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

By following the three courses of the Data Sharing Series, the participant will be able to understand and to a certain extent operationalising Data Sharing and other Data Strategy initiatives by the European Commission, including related challenges and opportunities.

By following the two courses of the Freedom to Operate Series, the participant will be able to understand and to a certain extent operationalising what Freedom to Operate means, why it is important, and how to cater for it while collaborating with other stakeholders.

Requirements

All participants in Innovative SMEs within the DigiCirc domain are welcome. No particular expertise is required.
