The overall goal of this module is to provide insights on how to develop winning investor pitches. The module lectures will provide startups and SMEs with knowledge on how to share their investment opportunity with investors and partners by developing a convincing and compelling story for their new venture.
The sessions will cover topics such as how to develop a pitch deck, who and when to pitch, how to avoid common mistakes that limit the effectiveness of the pitch and key techniques that will help new ventures close the deal.
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to:
• Develop the skills for investment pitching;
• Understand the concepts of how to develop winning investor pitches and how to speak the language of financial entrepreneurship;
• Create compelling and winning pitch decks;
• Successfully present business ideas via persuasive written and oral presentations.
A good English-speaking level is required, as well as an overall understanding of entrepreneurship
Level of teaching: Advanced. This course is designed for founders and entrepreneurs who would like to develop additional skills on how to share their investment opportunities with investors and partners, how to pitch to investors and how to develop a compelling story for their new venture.
